When Thomas was a little baby, I would try to read him stories. He just wasn’t interested.  As he got older, he began to sit still for story time in the rocking chair.  Now, he will pick up a book on his own and ”read” it to himself.

Here he is in his room. He climbed into the chair on his own, and I found him there with a book.   

 Another time, I found him in his little tent with a book. 

I am glad he loves books.  He will often climb into my lap, or Daddy’s lap, and pick up a book for us to read.
