adventures with baby

On June 25th, my baby boy turned one year old!  We had so much fun at his party.  He loved being the center of attention.  We had never had so many people in our house, and he thought it was great.  He played with the kids, and smiled for the adults.  This was the first time he ate cake. It took him a few minutes, but he got into it.  I threw him in the tub for a quick bath, then he kept going strong. The best part of this day, for me, was when he walked for the first time!  For about a month, he had been taking a step or two without even realizing it.  But on this day, in front of all our friends and family, he decided to walk across the room.  It was so great!  Everyone was so excited to be there when he did it.
