adventures with baby

We’re still in California visiting my family.  The first few nights, we stayed at my dad’s in LA.  Thomas slept in another room, and he slept through the night just fine.  Now we’re at my mom’s in San Diego.  It is really hot, and her house doesn’t have air conditioning in every room.  She put me in a room with Thomas, and this room has no air.  The first night, he was up at 3 am, then 5 am and never went back to sleep.  He barely took a nap all day and was SO cranky!  He was just crying and crying.  It was a horrible day.  He passed out last night and I put him in another room, one that has air.  I woke up at 3 am, 5 am and 6 am.  He was still asleep each time I checked on him!  He finally woke up around  7, and had a big smile on his face.  He took several naps during the day, including a huge 2 1/2 hour doozy in the middle of the day.  He was a tiny bit fussy in the evening, but overall it was an awesome day.  It took me two tries to get him down tonight, but he’s asleep.  Who knows how much he’ll sleep tonight?
